Personal summary
I'm a a writer and communications professional over 15 years experience in the non-profit sector. I'm interested in the intersection of written and visual communication: how what we write, and how people interpret it, impacts our message. My strengths are in writing and graphic design but throughout my career I've also honed my project management, content strategy and digital marketing skills. I recently completed George Brown's Graphic Design certificate program and am currently working towards their Advanced Graphic Design certificate, as well as studying Editorial Design at OCADU. In addition to my nonprofit experience, I offer services to independent authors on a freelance basis, which include writing, beta reading, editing, book formatting, and cover design.
