Task description and requirements
The Senior metering specialist is responsible for metering and broader communications across a number of different functions, from metershop level services to customer projects. The incumbent will play a lead role as the high-level metering and communication solution expert, interfacing with different technologies to provide a seamless customer experience. The Senior metering specialist assists with continuous improvement activities and in the promotion and business development of our solutions as the metering and solutioning subject matter expert.
Specific Accountabilities
The responsibility of the Specialist includes:
· Effectively support internal and external stakeholders as the senior metering specialist, act as the subject matter expert in all aspects including in sales and customer support roles.
· Assist with logistics and inventory provisioning and services related to customer orders, projects, and material movements as needed by the business.
· Assist with managing the business partner relationship for outsourced assembly of devices as a key stakeholder and partner of our supply chain.
· Recommend new equipment as needed and execute maintenance activities as required in the MeterShop.
· Follow procedures governed by Measurement Canada and the company.
· Provide and implement solutions with metering requests and communications working closely with internal stakeholders.
· Ongoing training & update technical procedures and best practices as per Measurement Canada and company’s requirements and policies.
· Be the safety ambassador in compliance with Trilliant QMS policies and procedures, taking steps to ensure a safe and productive workshop environment.
Profil
· Excellent logistics, warehousing, and supply chain knowledge
· Expert Knowledge of metering, devices, and communications utilized in advanced metering solutions, and other related equipment and accessories.
Skills & Qualifications: Education & Specialized Knowledge
· Expert knowledge of metering concepts and supporting communication technologies.
· Knowledge of Advanced Metering solutions and devices and asset.
Experience
· Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience in in Metering and communications solutioning
