Overview

The Accounting Systems Administrator is a subject matter expert on the B2W system program and its application and integration for Lafarge in North America.

Responsibilities



 Understanding of job cost accounting, estimating and payroll requirements of SAP and B2W
 Subject Matter expert on B2W accounting integration with SAP
 Delivering technical training and other knowledge resources
 Report on common sources of technical issues, product understanding or questions and make recommendations for improvement
 Guide businesses through improvement of current processes within the application of B2W software
 Guiding seasoned end users (Estimators, Job Cost Accountants, Payroll, etc) on the functionality of B2W
 Develop best practice reference materials to assist other team members and customers in the use of B2W products and recommended business practices
 Assist the businesses through proper configuration and workflow of B2W Software
 Maintain continued education of B2W products as they evolve, through either company sponsored or self-initiated courses
 Participate in business technology projects
 Participate in B2W implementation projects as needed
 System administrator for the B2W applications


Education

Qualifications: 



 Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer technology or a related discipline and/or post secondary education in Accounting an asset, and relevant experience required
 A combination of job cost accounting/Estimating and B2W experience an asset


Experience & Skill Set



 Hands on SAP Job Cost Accounting experience, combined with B2W exposure
 Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely
 Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
 Ability to work under pressure and escalate as required
 Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with employees at all levels/disciplines of the organization
 Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines
 Ability to learn independently and stay current with new technologies
 Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
