Task description and requirements
Field Source Testing Technician (Stacks)
The candidate will also become familiar with Alberta Stack Sampling Code (ASSC), the Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) Code, and their applications. Other duties will include equipment maintenance and repair, job preparation and ordering spare parts and materials. This role also provides an excellent introduction to the oil and gas industry in Alberta.
Responsibilities:
- Familiar with ASSC and CEMS Code
- Equipment maintenance and repair
- Job Preparation
- Ordering spare parts and materials
- Manage time based on daily schedule
- Load and unload equipment
- Professional attitude that is customer service driven
- Maintain AGAT Vehicle
- Maintain required Safety Tickets and Courses
- Maintain personal paperwork
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license with proof of a good driving history
- Comfortable with traveling throughout Western Canada
- Willing to work beyond 8 hours per day
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Solid physical fitness and some heavy lifting
- Ability to climb and work at heights up to 150 feet
- Some mechanical, electrical, and chemical aptitude
