Sr SAP Project Manager - Transition to Operations

Job Description

Our client is looking for Senior SAP Project Manager - Transition to Operations.

Start date: between May 1st and June 1st, 2024

Duration: 12 months

Work location: Montreal

Role And Responsibilities

Manages all aspects of the project lifecycle, including business, operational, and technology deliverables. Ensures all project processes and deliverables are completed on time, budget and with quality 
Executes project requirements in governance frameworks focused on risk appetite, regulatory and compliance standards. 
Develops all related project management artifacts, while complying with applicable enterprise and established program standards 
Compile project roadmap including workstreams, key activities, milestones, due dates, and utilize project management applications to build out project timelines, track tasks assignment and monitor project progress. 
Monitors and controls project deliverables; makes recommendations and adjustments to the overall project plan to achieve deliverables, 
Provide on-going communication to key stakeholders, including the Project Sponsor(s) and Program Leadership Group to ensure awareness of significant changes to the project status and related issues and risks in a timely manner. 
Understands project, program, and organizational interdependencies and demonstrates critical thinking that proactively identifies project risks and establishes effective risk mitigation from the onset. 
Ensure the identification of and update to project performance metrics, indicators, benchmarks, and guidelines to secure that project resources are used appropriately and in conformity with quality assurance standards pertaining to organizational project rules and methods. 
Communicate regularly with fellow project managers involved in other initiatives to foster an environment of mutual awareness and alignment on converging project timelines, interdependencies, and common challenges and best practices. 
Assess and escalate risk related to the project to the appropriate management level when needed.
Follow and Champion all project governance methodologies and associated practices, including risks, dependencies, and decision logs. 
Work with the client's transition to operations Team to build / execute the plan 

Requirements

Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project and program management on large transformation programs, including a strong understanding of SAP S4 Hana Experience 
Have an advanced MS Project, Facilitation 
Have a Jira, Excel, PPT, Facilitation, Executive and Stakeholder Reporting 
Have good language skills in English (French a bonus). 
Have advance SAP S4 Hana Experience 
Ariba, Fieldglass, Concur and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) an advantage 
Be based in Montreal 
Advanced MS Project, Team Facilitation and Jira 

Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
