Location: Calgary or Grande Prairie
Contract: 12 months, potential extension
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Manager of SCM Conventional Operations, the Procurement Analyst is responsible for cost-effective procurement of materials, focusing on Maintenance, Operations, and Site Service areas. The role involves extensive collaboration with internal stakeholders, managing procurement activities, and maintaining supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement activities and provide consultations on purchasing policies.
- Manage competitive procurement processes from RFx to award.
- Negotiate orders and expedite materials to meet business needs.
- Support Category Management and Materials Management Teams.
- Develop procurement documents and maintain policies.
- Facilitate supplier and stakeholder relationships.
Key Qualifications:
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- 2-5 years in procurement, preferably in Oil and Gas.
- Experience with SAP, CLM, ARIBA, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- SCMP designation is an asset.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of bid processes and maintenance services.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and adapt to change.
