Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager.
CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED IN NEW BRUNSWICK AND BILINGUAL
Start date: May 27th, 2024
End date: May 26th, 2025 (2 potential 1 year renewals)
Work location: Fredericton, NB
2 days onsite per week
Work schedule: 7.5 hours per day

Our client innovation health division is responsible for overall alignment and integration of innovation and technology within the overall health strategy to achieve optimal health system performance and quality care for all citizens.
Services Sought
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management and analytical skills, healthcare industry knowledge, change management and technical expertise. Responsibilities include project planning, change management, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, risk management, release management, quality assurance along with other management duties as required. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.
Requirements
A University bachelors level degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
10 + years Recent and relevant experience in a Senior Project Manager role
5 + years Project Management experience in the digital health / eHealth space in a Canadian jurisdiction
5 + years Project Management experience in the digital health / eHealth space in a Canadian
12 + years IT experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
Skills
5 years Demonstrated experience with technology projects in the eHealth space – preference given for this experience having been obtained in the role of Project Manager
5 years Strong skills and experience in communication planning, coordination and implementation including presentations to senior internal and external stakeholders
5 years Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large, complex eHealth projects that cross multiple business units and organizations (more than 4 or 5), involve multiple direct project participants (more than 15), operate for an extended period of time (more than 1 year), and involve addressing change management, business transformation and technical issues.
5 years Demonstrated experience in specific project execution activities including business analysis, issue/risk management, change control, change management, implementation, and transition Experience and demonstrated capability in overseeing a team of specialists on information technology development projects
5 years Experience and demonstrated capability in overseeing a team of specialists on information technology development projects
5 years Demonstrated experience with EMR initiatives in a Canadian context.
3 years Demonstrated project experience in software release management and quality assurance.
3 years Demonstrated experience in data management and data migration.

Deliverables
The key deliverables and activities for the Project Manager include but are not limited to the following:
Project Charter and Schedule: Develop project charters and schedules as part of project definition and planning.
Project Status Report: Provide project status updates.
Leadership Presentation: Prepare and deliver presentations to the Leadership to provide updates on project progress, discuss key decisions, and address any issues or risks that require their attention.
Stakeholder Management: Provide strong stakeholder management across multiple organizations, ensuring alignment and organizational needs are met.
Project Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, requirements, decisions, and actions taken throughout the engagement, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change requests.
Project Execution: Oversee and manage project execution, supporting analysis activities and analysis deliverables.
Release Management: Develop release management plans and schedules along with management of release cycles.
Data Migration: Oversight and manage data migration plans, schedules, and activities.
Continuous Improvement: Define and manage continuous improvement projects that enhance the operational context.
Performance Management: Conduct lessons learned for required project activity assessing performance against key metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
